St. Louis, Missouri
Host site: Gateway Writing Project

Join us for two days of envisioning and planning for a bright future for urban schools.  The Gateway Writing Project, our conference host, has a rich history of promoting teacher research that has influenced teaching practice throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. We invite you to share with us your stories about the power of classroom inquiry to improve the teaching of reading and writing.  Dr. Belinda Williams, editor of Closing the Achievement Gap:  A Vision for Changing Beliefs and Practices, will be the Saturday keynote speaker.
