Rural Sites Network Resource Development Retreat

July 20–24, 2006

Oglebay Resort
Wheeling, West Virginia

The NWP Rural Sites Network Resource Development Retreat will gather experienced leaders from rural sites to write about successful writing project initiatives. At the retreat we will craft materials that will make visible the leadership and knowledge in rural writing project sites, strengthen the Rural Sites Network, and allow us to disseminate our knowledge about programming and site development across the National Writing Project.

Participants will be selected from a pool of applicants. Sites that have successfully completed a minigrant cycle of work and would like to write about the project, its sustainability, or its impact on the site are especially encouraged to apply.

Food and lodging costs will be covered for retreat participants. Sites are expected to cover all travel costs.
Applications are no longer being accepted. To view the original application information, click here.
