You are invited to listen and interact with teachers across the globe during a special two-part Teachers Teaching Teachers webcast, titled "Resiliency: What We are Learning from Our Students," sponsored by the Urban Sites Network and Rural Sites Network.
Resiliency theories have been shared for over a decade. Members of the NWP's Urban and Rural Sites Networks, who have been discussing the implications of resiliency research for classroom practice, will share what teachers see and do when stakes are high, supports are limited, and odds are tough—and kids rise above it all.
Bonnie Benard, keynote speaker at the 2009 Urban Sites Network Conference, explores this topic in her book Resiliency: What We Have Learned 
, which helps to frame this discussion.

How to Participate
The first part of the event takes place on the Teachers Teaching Teachers webpage on Wednesday, May 13, 9–10 p.m. EST / 6–7 p.m. PST. The second part takes place at the same place and time on June 3, 2009.
Teachers Teaching Teachers webcasts are live each Wednesday night, 9–10 p.m. EST / 6–7 p.m. PST.
