NWP Urban Sites Conference Approaches

Summary: Members of the Urban Sites Network and other interested educators will gather at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, April 27-28, 2001, to share their knowledge, expertise, and leadership in promoting exemplary instruction of writing in urban classrooms.

 

It's not too late to register for the NWP Urban Sites Conference! The conference, slated for April 27–28 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, has an April 15, 2001, registration deadline.

Themed "Uncovering Our Voices: Embracing the Challenges of Urban Education," the conference gives teachers a chance to address issues that affect their classrooms. Teachers from across the nation will share their knowledge, expertise, and leadership in promoting exemplary instruction of writing in our nation's urban schools.
