Have you ever wondered what a Hoosier is? Come to the Crossroads of America this November and find out. Join us in Indianapolis at the 2004 NWP Annual Meeting, November 18–20, your best opportunity of the year to network with writing project colleagues from across the country.
Almost nothing compares to the energy and excitement generated by close to 1,000 writing project site leaders and teachers coming together once a year to share what they know. Held in conjunction with the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Annual Convention, the NWP Annual Meeting includes interactive workshop sessions, roundtable discussions, and demonstrations of successful practice, all conducted by writing project directors, site leaders, and teacher-consultants.
Check the annual meeting page at the NWP website for continuing updates about the meeting throughout the summer and fall, click here. From this webpage, you can also link online to archives of past annual meetings to learn more about what to expect.
