Excerpt from Show
It's been a long time coming, but we are planning a flash mob to take place on the National Day on Writing on the campus of Michigan State University. Basically a flash mob is a sort of spontaneous gathering of people who get together and do something absurd in some sort of public place....
Additionally, most flash mobs nowadays are filmed, and put up on YouTube ... which made me think about what sort of product we're creating and how we participate collaboratively to create products.... I thought this could serve as a really elaborate writing prompt.
