Digital Writing Matters
Date: January 26, 2012
Summary: In the lead-up to Digital Learning Day on February 1, NWP educators from around the country—including Troy Hicks of the Chippewa River Writing Project and Janelle Quintans Bence from the North Star of Texas Writing Project—discussed why digital writing matters for themselves as professionals and for the students they teach.
Excerpt from Show
It's not about technology, it's about connecting kids, giving them a sense of community. In the case of these three classrooms, these teachers are very committed to using technology to get their students' writing—their students' voices—beyond the walls of the classroom and confines of the community, to give them an authentic audience.
