[Check] out the summer session at P2PU (Peer 2 Peer University) for some inspiration for the upcoming school year. If you're not familiar, P2PU focuses on informal online learning. The National Writing Project (NWP) is leading an online study group there titled "Making Writing and Literacy Learning Connections,"
July 9-23. NWP hosts Digital Is, an online community for educators (both in school and out) to create and disseminate resources on teaching, writing and new media literacies. The summer study group will focus on what the move to digital means for the teaching of writing and learning. Discussion will be based on participants' own experiences and those of the NWP Digital Is community. Two other study groups on "Curating Our Digital Lives"
and "Connected Learning with Youth Voices"
