Date: March 10, 2016

Excerpt from Show

Megan Ave'Lallemant —Deep Center Programs Director:

My involvement in Red Clay validated me as a writer and then again as a leader. Just like many of our Deep authors, I needed affirmation from my peers and from my teachers when sharing my writing. Receiving genuine encouragement emboldened me in a way I never could have imagined. I don't need decades of schooling in this field to be relevant; I need to write."
