Summer Reading: A Conversation with Colleagues in the NWP Network
Date: July 20, 2017
Summary: A lively and wide-ranging discussion with teacher-leaders and Writing Project staff, recorded live at the NWP Resource Development Retreat in Denver, CO.
Excerpt from Show
Tanya Baker, NWP Director of National Programs:
The other thing that I thought was really fascinating about Troublemakers...is the way that we institutionalize the other young people to enact this vision of kids. It's not just the institutions, it's not just the adults, how quickly the other children get incorporated into this vision of what is good and what is bad, and what school is for and who school is for."
